I assumed that the things I was buying at the store were safe. I really thought that the items I brought into our home, for our health and self care were safe for our bodies. I think most people did, and still do.
I really didn’t question much of anything about my overall health and diet until I watched a few documentaries. Food, Inc was the one that set this all in motion. The first thing I did to take control of my health was change my diet. I cut out nearly all processed foods over a few year’s time.
Then, to save money and cut our toxic-load I started making our cleaning products. I eventually took myself off of birth control pills. Because what was the point in eating a clean, nourishing diet when I was swallowing hormones in pill form every single day? Last came the focus on skin and body care products.
A quick search of some of the common ingredients in today’s beauty products should sound the alarm:
Phthalates: Plasticizers that are banned in the EU and California (in children’s toys), but still present in fragrances/perfumes, deodorants, and lotions. Linked to endocrine disruption and liver, kidney, lung damage.
Coal Tar: A known carcinogen banned in the EU, but still used in North America.
DEA/TEA/MEA: Suspected carcinogens, used as foaming agents in shampoos, body washes, and soaps.
So when a friend asked me to go to an essential oil class, it only made sense. My road to natural may have started with Food Inc., but I’ve come a long way since then and essential oils have played a huge role in that journey.
What are essential oils?
Just like our food is made up of specific vitamins and minerals, so too essential oils have specific properties about them that are beneficial to us.
Essential oils are natural oils made from different parts of plants including the leaves, stem, flowers, seeds, bark that distilled into a pure, potent aromatic compound.
Why use essential oils?
Why not just use said plants and herbs instead of buying essential oils? Because oils are incredibly more potent than the herb/plant itself. Take for example that one drop of peppermint oil is equivalent to drinking almost 40 cups of peppermint tea. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
These aromatic compounds have been around forever. They are a great natural option for wellness. They work. That’s why.
Why therapeutic grade essential oils?
When it comes to essential oils, quality matters! I’m sorry but I could never stand by and let someone I love buy essential oils from one of the big box stores I see carrying them today.
I chose to partner with the number one essential oil company in the world and you can too! Their success is based on users experience, and that experience is great because: their plants are grown in native environments, harvesting is done at the perfect time by experience growers, regular testing is completed on the oils.
How do I get started?
The oils I use are sold exclusively through essential oil educators. I am here to introduce you to, educate you about, and get these amazing oils into your hands.
Most people start by opening a Wholesale Membership account (think of it like a Costco membership). When you open the account, you can purchase one of the enrollment kits to get the membership fee waived. Upon opening an account, you’ll have access to the world’s best essential oils at whole price (25% off retail).
To get started:
- Contact me through my Facebook page or at ezerwife(at)gmail(dot)com
- I’ll help you select the starter kit that works for you.
- In less than a week you’ll get your oils.
- Live the natural wellness lifestyle you’ve been dreaming of (with help and support all along the way!)
Do I have to purchase something every month? No way Jose. You can purchase whenever you want with no minimum requirement. There is an optional rewards program that most folks enjoy, and it’s similar to a frequent flyer program in regards to earning points/products back.
Do I have to sell the oils? Nope. Just enjoy your new oils and if you find later that you’d like to start selling we can figure that out together.
Do I have to hold parties/classes? Just like you don’t have buy or sell a certain amount, you also don’t have to hold parties or even talk about your new oils if you don’t want. If you find later that you’re super pumped about the oils and want to share what you’ve learned, there are plenty of resources to help you get started.
How can I order more? Once you’ve got your wholesale account you’ll have your very own shopping page where you can log in and order any time.
